IAN JENKINS
Ian Jenkins is Consultant Surgeon in St. Mark's The National Bowel Hospital and is Divisional Medical Director [Deputy] & leads the national and international Complex Cancer Service and BiCyCLE Research Group. He is President of the Royal Society of Medicine Coloproctology Section and President in Waiting of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland and Founder-member of UKPEN.
His practice involves locally advanced and locally recurrent rectal and anal cancer, rare pelvic tumours, severe endometriosis, pelvic sarcoma surgery, pelvic revision surgery with a long standing interest in both minimally and maximally invasive surgery techniques. He leads the Royal College of Surgeons of England accredited MiMICC Fellowship having trained a generation of specialist surgeons using reproducible and successful approaches in and out of theatre.
